Paradis is Simon Mény and Pierre Rousseau from Paris. A while ago they debuted with their fantastic 12 “Parfait Tirage” b/w “La Ballade de Jim” released on Tim Sweeney’s label Beats in Space. Now they are back with this fine piece of music, and with a video that’s not that bad either. Watch the whole thing I’m sure you will like it as much as I did. Directed by Sacha Barbin.

I guess it’s hard to have missed the music sensation called Gotye and especially their hit “Somebody That I Used To Know”. We at Cuepoint really dig them even if we have no clue on how to pronounce their name. “Goat-y” or “Gåty” or is it “Goty”?. Impossible.

Anyway, we just came across this fantastic bootleg made by Richard Knott. A guy we don’t know much about, more than that he’s a friend of Eric Prydz, and he made this fucking quality tune. Check it out and download it here.

Here’s a deep and progressive track from Nova. Who is Nove you might ask, well it’s the result of a collaboration between Burial and Four Tet. A very good combo indeed.

It’s not so strange that it has been so quiet over at Eric Prydz’s corner. And It’s hard to believe, but it’s finaly here! The album that we have waited for. For so long. The time is here.

The man, the myth, the legend, Mr Eric Prydz has been working on this album for 3 (or more) years now, and now is the time to release it. It contains 3 discs, 2 of which are more of a recap of his greatest and one disc featuring the most sought after tracks in the history of man. The holy grail. Unreleased smasher tracks that Eric has keept hostage of in his computer for years.

I just spoke to Henrik, who is a third of Cuepoint.tv, and when I mentioned this album he told me that he will take a day off from work so he could dedicate it 100% to listen to this album. That’s how high the anticipation is for this album. And I guess we won’t be disappointed, just take a listen to these tracks below. (Hopefully they will all be on the album).

A couple of days ago we got an e-mail regarding this track and I thought oh no not another Daft Punk bootleg. But then I gave it a try and I must say that these guys did a pretty good job here. This is the third episode (if you can call it that) of First Play. And this time we have a brand new edit from our favorites, Dana Bergquist & Peder G up for grabs. It’s a progressive / deep house edit of the old classic “Buffalo Stance” from Swedish Neneh Cherry.

I can’t remember that I have ever put on one of Dana Berguist’s tracks and felt “this wasn’t good” or “he changed his style”. He has always kept his low-key profile and just pumped out quality music. Letting the music talk for itself, which in these days are quite uncommon. It feels like everybody’s looking at each other, changing their style and trying to reach fame fast.

I:Cube makes a very welcomed return with his EP “I:Cube – Cubo Edits”. This was released already in december of 2011 but it wasn’t until now that we came across this fantastic gem. All I can say that it’s just as good if not better the 55th time on repeat.
