X-mas interview with Henrik B

How has your 2011 music year been?

B is for Busy.

This years has been extremely busy with tours in Asia, South America and gigs in Europe. Also quite alot of gigs in Sweden, which is really nice. The scene is really starting to pick up here now!
Production wise i have had a release out on Armada with John Dahlbäck called Senses. Also my first ever Acid track out on David Tort´s label The mansion recordings. My track Now and Forever got released on Tiëstos label musical freedom both as a single and as the lead track of his new “Club life”-compilation. I recently finished my track “Leave a light” which features vocals by Rudy, to be released on Axtone in early 2012.

What was your favorite track during 2011 ?

B is for Best track.

I would say the Swedish house mafia remix of Coldplay or the Thomas Gold remix of Adele´s “Set fire to the rain”

Which where your most memorable moment of all your gigs this year?

B is for Banging.

That is very hard to say but i really enjoyed my 4h set at “Opium Mar” in Barcelona.

Looking ahead in time what´s your plans for 2012?

B is for Blasting new tracks.

My goal for next year is to release more music than ever. I have quite a few tracks that just need the final touch.

Any planed new year’s resolutions?

B is for Bash.

I am playing in Sweden on the 30th and I am looking forward to spending new years eve with friends!

How do you intend to spend your X-mas this year?

B is for Being a Pryda friend.

My brother has his 40th birthday on Christmas eve so it will be quite a blast! That will be a good “pre party” for my gig at Svenska Mässan with Eric Prydz, Johan Wedel, Style of Eye and Franz Novotny on the 25ht.

What can we expect from that event?

B is for Begging for good response.

I will play at least 4 new unreleased productions i have done. Hopefully the crowd will go Bonkers.

What´s your impression on the crowd in the southern parts of Sweden?

B is for Bribe.

Since i live close to Gothenburg must and WILL say that it has the best crowd in Sweden. Yes, I get paid to say that.

That´s more or less how we feel every damn Sunday. Every second Sunday we will pick out some of our favorite indie tracks that are offered to you guys as a free download to at least try to make your lazy day a bit better.

First on play we have Skai Nine. He’s a lover and creator of all kinds of electro-based music, taking inspiration from everything from hip-hop to synth pop of the 80s. As you can hear in this beauty.

Two weeks ago we pushed for Frames, the master from Australia. And once again we have decided to feature him here and think we will see him again.
