Oliver $ had possibly Beatport’s biggest hit of the year with ‘Doin’ Ya Thang’ which borrowed from a certain Detroit legend, hit number one in their charts and refused to budge. Berlin-based and part of the Made to Play and (shh) Play it Down crew, the track was the greatest mark so far of his heavy funk-infused take on house.
